Pembridge Hall School for Girls

We believe we are a leading school because………….. The strongest features of the teaching we provide are; Specialist teachers and subject coordinators use their knowledge and enthusiasm for their subject to enhance the teaching of the curriculum through monitoring plans, lessons and children’s work and advising where necessary. Therefore the quality of lessons has improved benefitting the pupils directly. Year Groups have a culture of sharing of best practice and discussion through weekly planning meeting and mutual observations. As above the quality of lessons have improved, benefitting the pupils directly. The provision for more/less able through extension and booster groups, streaming for Mathematics from Y3 and Year 6 in Literacy.

At Pembridge Hall we fulfil the following aims most successfully: to prepare girls for senior school entrance examination to create a broad curriculum in a happy, secure and stimulating environment in which girls learn to work with concentration and enthusiasm to foster the importance of each girl as an individual, equipping her with the skills to be a life-long learner and a well-rounded, happy and confident child to encourage tolerance, mutual respect, courtesy and thoughtfulness for others in school. This is reflected in our school motto: ‘Whether you are big or small we all belong to Pembridge Hall’.
