We believe we are a leading school because we recently received an outstanding grade in all areas, during our latest OFSTED inspection; We also offer a wide range of extension activities throughout the school day including specialist gym, salsa, music, French, art, dance and yoga lessons. We are lucky enough to have our own ‘secret garden’ hidden within the school building. Our building itself is a large converted synagogue, flooded with natural light and a caring, happy atmosphere. Rolfe’s Nursery School is a happy and vibrant nursery school, situated in the heart of Notting Hill, London. Rolfe’s Nursery School strives for excellence in all areas of the curriculum. We believe that high quality pre-school provision is extremely important in assisting the overall development of the young child. We follow both the National Curriculum and Montessori Philosophy. We provide our children with a wealth of experiences which will help them to develop self awareness, a high level of self esteem, and equip them with the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to achieve their full potential.

Learning through play is a crucial element to each child’s development and a motivating factor in their learning. The nursery curriculum, therefore, is based on learning through play which is mainly child initiated. The staff will observe and evaluate the learning which is taking place. They will then structure and guide our daily programme so that children derive maximum benefit and learning opportunities.
