We select co-educational boarders and day students, based on their overall potential, who are prepared to benefit from and be active partners in the continued success of Langley School.
Occupying a 100 acre site with grounds designed by Capability Brown, Langley is situated 8 miles South of Norwich giving us the advantage of being rural yet allowing easy access to both road and rail links direct to London and Stansted Airport. Our boarding houses occupy the stunning Grade 1 listed Langley Hall, and have recently undergone a major refurbishment. Now boarders benefit from first class facilities including en-suite rooms and common room areas to go alongside our ever developing school site, from Hockey Astro to a new £3.4million teaching block, Langley can offer the perfect environment to live and learn together and the chance to make lifelong friendships.
A Centre of excellence for Design and Technology, outstanding sporting and musical traditions are but some of what is on offer at Langley. Our aim is to ensure a forward looking education, in class sizes no more than 16 where each and every child is seen as an individual.
Langley also boasts the oldest Combined Cadet Force in Norfolk formed in 1911, offering the choice of Army, Navy and Air Force Cadets as well as Duke of Edinburgh.
Our examination grades speak for themselves with 99% 5 A* - C at GCSE including 36% at the top grade, and at ALevel our students achieved record breaking results last year with nearly 60% of grades coming in at A-B grade.
The above are even more exceptional considering we are totally non-selective.
