Uppingham School

Uppingham is one of the UK’s leading boarding schools for boys and girls aged 13-18, drawing around 780 pupils from all over the country and abroad. Located in the rural setting of a small market town in Rutland, Uppingham’s distinctive architecture testifies a history that began in 1584. Whilst the School is noted for its strong commitment to all-round education, its superb pastoral care and magnificent facilities – a multi-million pound Sports Centre opened in September – the pupils’ academic studies are the priority. In 2010 more that 90% of all A-level grades were at A* to B.
